Varsity Tutors Scholarship Contest

Varsity Tutors runs a monthly $200 college scholarship contest where students must write an essay in response to a monthly prompt. Visitors to the Varsity Tutors scholarship webpage are able to vote via social media for submitted entries. The top five entries with the most votes are reviewed by Varsity Tutors at the end of the month and one winner is chosen to receive the scholarship. Italian Catholic Federation Scholarship

Altura Credit Union Foundation Scholarships

Each year, the Altura Credit Union Foundation awards monetary scholarships to Riverside County High School seniors pursuing a college education. Scholarships are available from four separate funds, each of which has a different set of criteria. Students applying for any of the Altura Credit Union Foundation scholarships need to fill out only one application. Awards are based on academic achievement, community service, extra-curricular activities and financial need is considered. Students must complete application form, submit transcript, essay, three letters of recommendation, SAT or ACT scores and a copy of your FAFSA – EFC (Estimated Family Contribution) page. The Riverside City Teachers Association is awarding multiple $500, $1,000 and $1,500 scholarships. All RUSD graduating seniors are eligible to apply. Students selected for consideration will be applicants who demonstrate excellence in academics (3.0 GPA or higher) and who have shown leadership in community activities or in RUSD schools. The Cirkled In “No Sweat” Scholarship

Riverside Sheriffs’ Association Student Scholarship Program

Applicants must be high school seniors who plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited four year college or university in the US who are children of members of the Riverside Sherriff’s Association or students who are attending high schools in Riverside County. Riverside Association of School Managers (RASM) Scholarship Program

23rd District PTA Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes volunteer service in the school and community and does not have a grade point average restriction or requirement. Applicant must be a Riverside County resident, graduating from a high school in Riverside County with a PTA/PTSA unit in good standing, and must be a member of his/her high school PTA/PTSA. Riverside Community College District offers scholarships for high school seniors who plan to enroll at any college within RCCD (MVC, NC, RCC). The application process is entirely an online application. Go to www.rcc.edu for the Riverside campus. Click on Financial Aid then select RCC Scholarship Information and RCCD Foundation Scholarships. Read carefully all the information regarding applying for scholarships on the Financial Aid webpage. Be sure to follow all directions exactly.
