Dr. Roe has been in public education for more than 17 years and currently serves as Principal of Riverside Polytechnic High School within the Riverside Unified School District (RUSD). He earned his doctoral degree at the University of La Verne concentrating his efforts on successful tasks and strategies employed by principals in the first 90 days of school leadership. He is currently attending classes at the University of Notre Dame Mendoza’s College of Business in their Executive Program. He teaches/presents at Concordia University, Brandman University and California Baptist University.

In his public policy work, Dr. Roe is a founding Board Member for the Coalition for Restorative Schools which is committed to ending the school-to-prison pipeline. This past August, Roe was part of a coalition invited to the White House to discuss equity programs for students. Inasmuch, he presents and consults nationally on building hope, well-being and engagement amongst students, staff and organizations.

Most recently, Dr. Roe has been working with key stakeholders statewide on LCAP alignment efforts and cross functionality processes to increase organizational capacity. He has been working on a book project outlining the importance of building teams in natural ways through targeted system and structural design to improve connectedness and effectiveness.

Dr. Roe resides in Menifee, California with his wife, four children and German Shepherd.
