Poly High School earns National Award as American School Counselors (ASCA) Model Program

ASCA RAMP LogoRiverside Poly High School is now an American School Counselors Association (ASCA) Model Program!  Poly is one of two schools in the State of California to have earned this honor.  This award speaks to the hard work of its school counselors, Patricia Miller, Robert Johnston, Windy Figueroa, Danielle Sovine, Valerie Titus, and Yuri Nava.

The culmination of this national award began four years ago when the Poly High School leadership team and its counselors discussed at length the desire to apply for this coveted distinction and the importance of bringing alive the ASCA standards into daily practice with students.  

This national award designation recognizes Poly High School as a school that "is committed to delivering a comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program and an exemplary educational environment."

Poly High School was honored at ASCA's Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado on Monday, July 10th.
