Mr. Vaughan is starting his 25th year in public education and his 11th year at Riverside Poly High School as an Assistant Principal. Mr. Vaughan started his career in education at Rim of the World Unified School District as a Social Science Teacher and Varsity Boys Basketball Coach before starting his journey into administration as Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at Rim of the World High School.
Before joining the administration team at Riverside Poly, Mr. Vaughan also had a short stay in the Corona-Norco Unified School District as an Assistant Principal at Lee V. Pollard and Corona High School.
Mr. Vaughan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from California State University at Fullerton and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego.
Mr. Vaughan is married to an educator and has three wonderful children that have attended RUSD schools.
